(And Other Unsolved Economic Mysteries) ” with Jared Bernstein, a senior fellow at the Economic Policy Institute (EPI) in Washington D.C, Jared Bernstein is the author of All Together Now: Common Sense for a Fair Economy and a weekly guest commentator or CNBC. Bernstein’s new book Crunch is a lively and irreverent tour through everyday economic mysteries, helping frustrated or befuddled Americans to clear up a few economic facts. What’s a“living wage?” How much can presidents really affect economic outcomes? If I hire an immigrant, am I hurting a native-born worker? Chances are, if there’s a stumper you’ve always wanted to ask an economist, it’s solved in his book. * * * * * * * Table Talk Reservations Table Talks at 6pm include a three course dinner, followed by speaker and discussion from 7:30-9pm. $35 per person, includes tax and gratuity.
